How do assistants take the course? After having signed up, it is an online course that is self-paced. They can work on it at any time of the day.

Do Sales Directors need to pay for the time it takes to complete the course? This is up to you. We recommend either paying per hour for the training time, providing a bonus upon completion, or providing a raise upon completion. Sometimes Sales Directors also choose to pay their assistant for a specific number of hours to complete the course.

What should the starting wage be for my virtual assistant? This is up to you. Typically, the starting wage for an assistant is $17-19 per hour.

How often should I pay my assistant? Most Sales Directors pay once or twice a month on the 1st or 15th of each month. They most commonly pay with Zelle, PayPal, Cash app, or Venmo.

How will my assistant track her hours and the projects she has completed during this time? Assistants are trained on Clockify. Clockify allows them to clock in and out in their phone, record what they’re doing with that time, and report their hours to you.

When can my assistant begin working for me? Immediately! You can wait until she has completed the course or have her begin working on tasks right away.

How often should I communicate with my assistant? We recommend setting up a weekly time to discuss tasks with your assistant. It is also helpful to discuss any communication boundaries if your notifications aren’t off. For example: perhaps you don’t work after 8pm, or on Sundays.

After completing the course, what resources does my assistant have?Lifetime access to the course, access to our Voxer and Facebook Assistants groups, and monthly training calls.
